Life as A Intern at Trigon Hotels
As our Digital Marketing Intern, Caolan Callaghan’s journey with us comes to a close, we asked him to reflect on his time with us..
“As I write this blog, I have come to the end of my internship with Trigon Hotels, and I have only good things to say. Before this internship my only experience of Marketing was from what I had learned in the lecture hall in MTU. As I finish up my internship I am confident in saying that I have learnt so much from Megan, the Digital Marketing Manager and the Sales and Marketing team. Being involved in weekly team Zoom calls and being a part of the discussion has thought me so much of what is involved in the hospitality industry and how digital marketing plays such an important role in this industry.”
“If you ever have the opportunity, I could not recommend enough doing your internship with Trigon Hotels. They gave me the space to be able to work on my own initiative and improve my skills but also helped guide me on my way if I ever needed help. The team were always encouraging and never let me feel left out which I felt was very important. Unlike some other internships, the team always gave me tasks which would develop my marketing skills and never went off course.”
“I would like to thank Megan Pardy, the Group Digital Marketing Manager who was my Internship co-ordinator for all the help the last 3 months. Megan has thought me so much of what is involved in Digital Marketing and has gave me great advice that I am sure will stick with me as I continue my career into marketing. If you are ever given the opportunity to work with this company I would highly recommend doing so.”
We are very proud of Caolan and what he has achieved so far in his internship. We are looking forward to expanding his knowledge about digital marketing and the hospitality sector, that he can then apply to his studies when he heads into his final year of his degree in September.
