Trigon Hotels Introduces New Policies to Support Diversity & Inclusion
We are delighted here at Trigon Hotels to introduce two new policies that will support and develop diversity and inclusion in our group. We have launched these policies in line with Cork Pride Festival which takes place from July 30th to August 6th.
We are continually committed to creating and maintaining a positive work environment. These new policies will help us to continue to grow as a company where the gender and dignity of every team member is affirmed.
We developed our Charter for Dignity at Work to ensure that every team member can be expected to be treated fairly and with respect. We strongly reject all forms of harassment or discrimination towards any individual or group.
We have also introduced our Gender Identity and Expression Policy. This policy will offer team members guidance and information and it reinforces our diversity and inclusion protocols. As part of this policy we will continue to offer support to individuals who require assistance in affirming their gender identity at work. We can also, as part of this policy, support and facilitate social transition plans and or medical needs within the workplace. We will work with individuals to tailor a plan specific to their needs and circumstances. We commit to investing in training for all our team members and of course, our HR team is here to assist with any inquiries relating to gender identification or expression and the implementation of the policies.
