- Get the Wedding Menu Right
Picking the right menu for your wedding is really important. Make sure you attend a menu tasting and ask plenty questions. Don’t stress about guests and their dietary requirements, just let your wedding coordinator know in enough time prior to your wedding day and they will ensure the dishes are adapted to suit your guests’ needs.
- Lists, Lists and More Lists!
Whether you have 2 years or 2 months to plan a wedding, it can be very stressful. There’s no point making endless lists in your head only to forget them minutes later. Use the notes section on your phone, download a wedding planning app, or keep a little notebook or binder handy in your bag to jot down things to do as they occur to you. It is a good idea to keep a list nearby as you may spot hints and tips online or get advice from friends and it can be helpful to take notes as you go.
- Delegate
Don’t assume the burden of planning all on your own. Ask your wedding party to lend a hand in the planning and share responsibilities with your partner. Remember the day is important for both of you. No matter how big or small, make sure your both have some tasks and don’t forget that your wedding co-ordinator is here to lean on too! She/he can be very helpful when it comes to sharing hints and tips and recommending suppliers for your celebration.
